Jakarta Globe reports that the ASEAN Regional Entrepreneurship Summit schedule to be held in Bali in July will host more than 200 business leaders from across the region.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Google chairman Eric Schmidt are scheduled as keynote speakers at the summit that will discuss the entrepreneur’s role in creating jobs and developing the economy.

A follow up to an Entrepreneurship Summit held in Washington, D.C. in April 2010, Google’s former CEO participation was invited at the Bali meeting in recognition of that company’s meteoritic rise over the past two decades to become a major company, touching the lives of millions around the world.

Schmidt led Goggle for 10 years until he was replaced by co-founder, Larry Page, in January 2011. He now serves as the executive Chairman of GEPI – a grouping of 13 influential business leaders dedicated to promoting grown in emerging economies.

The ASEAN Regional Entrepreneurship Summit will be headquartered at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Nusa Dua and be held July 22-24, 2011.
