The latest report from the National Disaster Management Agency (BPNPB) has raised the number to 90 for the total number of people injured as the result of Thursday, October 13, 2011 earthquake.

Quoted in The Jakarta Post, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, confirmed on the weekend that only four people remained hospitalized due the injuries suffered in the earthquake measured at 6.8 on the Richter scale.

Said Sutopo: ?“All the other victims have been sent home. Most of them suffered head injuries. The local administration is covering medical expenses.”

He also calculated 51 building had been damaged with losses estimated at Rp.2.9 billion (US$327,700).

After being closed briefly for safety inspections, the Carrefour outlet on Jalan Sunset has reopened for business.
